Spanish has many expressions with the words «marchar» and «marcha». If you live Spain, or often visit the country, you must have heard a waiter say this in a bar: «¡Marchando!». It means the waiter is going to bring your order right away, or is going to get to work right away, like switching on a machine. In conversation with native speakers, you’ll understand and be able to participate more if you know some of the expressions we explain in this mini-lesson.You can learn more expressions with «marchar» and «marcha» in our
blog.
To help you get the most out of the video we have developed a set of supplementary learning materials, consisting of a complete annotated transcription, grammar notes in Spanish and English, and online activities where you can practise the vocabulary, expressions and grammar highlighted in the mini-lesson.
