I\u2019m In\u00e9s Alba, from Real Spanish.<\/p>\n<p>Do you know the courses offered by the Real Spanish website? They are <em>una pasada<\/em>. This means that something is amazing or really good, and is used when someone likes something very much.<\/p>\n<p>In Spanish there are many ways to give the go-ahead or express that you like something very much. Perhaps you have already heard the expression <em>\u00a1Qu\u00e9 guay!<\/em> which is one of the most used.<\/p>\n<p>But there are others like the adjective <em>chulo <\/em>or <em>chula<\/em> with the meaning of pretty but at the same time something modern, original, different. For example, I can say <em>\u00a1Qu\u00e9 vestido m\u00e1s chulo! <\/em>or <em>\u00a1Qu\u00e9 casa m\u00e1s chula! <\/em>or simply: <em>\u00a1Qu\u00e9 chulo\/a!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>But be careful with this word because if you say that a person is <em>un chulo<\/em> or <em>una chula<\/em>, it has a different meaning. It means that he\/she is an arrogant person. And <em>un chulo<\/em> can also mean someone who controls and exploits prostitutes.<\/p>\n<p>Another way to express that you like something is by using the verb <em>molar<\/em>. We can say that <em>algo mola mucho<\/em> or <em>me mola algo;<\/em> in this case it works like the verb <em>gustar<\/em>. \u00a0A widely-used expression is <em>\u00a1C\u00f3mo mola!<\/em> to indicate that something or someone is nice, fun, cheerful\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Well, I hope you can use some of these expressions soon.
