I – What are cookies?

II – Types of cookies

2 – According to the origin of the cookie
a) First-party cookies – When the website that creates the cookie is the same one that the user is visiting.
b) Third Party Cookies – When the cookie is placed from another Web site, it collects information to provide visitors with its own services or to track users by the sites they visit.
3 – According to the use of the cookie
a) Technical Cookies – Allow the user to navigate through a site and use any of the options or existing services, for example, control traffic and data communication, identify the session, restrict access to some pages, remember the elements of an order, process the purchase of an order, use a personal member area, use the security features of storage, video content or electronic sound or share content through social networks. Some of these cookies are considered “strictly necessary cookies” because it would be impossible to use the site without them.
b) Personalization Cookies – allow users to change the operation of a website according to their preferences (e.g., languages, styles, browser, etc.).
